Always Learning

Were always learning, its a simple fact of life, we never actually stop we just keep learning something new all the time. today i learned about digital painting and found myself having a great deal of fun doing it. I really cant wait to keep going at it. Another thing I learned today was website design, now granted not the real deal website design like Dreamweaver but still I learned how to arrange and make an interesting website. I'll give you the link after im done here. Learning is a wonderful thing to do and its even more wonderful when your learning things that truly interest you. So keep learning out there I know I will.

Dedication

what is dedication? In my view dedication is the ability to stick to something through the good and the bad, its about not giving up in the face of adversity, its about forcing yourself through to the end for a greater good. I decided to bring up dedication today because of a model ive been working on hopefully i'll be able to post some stills soon but this model is one I have tried to make before and simply put it didnt turn out well. But im still trying and still working on making this concept character into reality, taking on such a task requires a great deal of dedication ive ran into many roadblocks trying to make the character this time, but I push myself through and in the end the solution always appears. So for my fellow artists out there and just plain people following my blog I say this dont give up and be dedicated to all that you do after all I believe these are one of the things that make us grow as a person, so be dedicated my friends it can only be a benefit to us in the end.

A change for the better

Change it can be good or bad, new people, new ideas, new ways of life. Recently for those who may not know I went and changed my major from game design to Game Art and Animation. And to be honest i dont know why I didnt change sooner. Finally I feel free to study the craft and to become the best artist I can possibly hope to achieve. Why am I saying these things? Because just as I have changed maybe you need to change as well. And I dont just mean your major. If you know something is not going right in your life than change it. If your bored and have the time and money then go places, meet new people, try new things. Not everything will be a success but at least you wont have what ifs floating around in your head. I plan to post a good amount of my work on here and as this blog grows hopefully my skills as an artist will grow with it as well, and hopefully who I am as a person.
